## Inspection and cleaning checklist

1. Isolate and make safe; keep steel tools clear of the magnet face
2. Open (hinged) or release (quick-release) the plate
3. Remove and record captured ferrous metal; investigate changes
4. Clean face and seams with the approved method and sanitiser
5. Inspect weld seams and face for dents, cracks, pitting or damage
6. Verify performance: cling/pull test or Gauss-meter reading if required
7. Close, refit, check latch and mounting, sign the log

**Need bars instead?** Full-weld magnetic bars and grate magnets are available to order too. Without full weld, bar and grate magnets can use screws or nuts that leave crevices and threads where deposit builds up; full weld removes them. ## FAQ

**Are your plate magnets rated at 10,000 Gauss?** We can build plate magnets up to about 10,000 Gauss surface field (typical rating, not a guarantee for every build). Field at the product depends on air gap and plate size; we confirm per application.

**What does FULL WELD mean?** Continuous seal welds close the housing: no open seams, crevices or gaps, and no exposed screws or bolts on the product face. Seams are finished smooth and cleanable.

**Does it help with HACCP?** It is designed to support your HACCP programme as a hygienic ferrous foreign-body control. Your HACCP plan and validation remain your own.

**Is Arrowmatics ISO 22000 certified?** No, we do not claim that. ISO 22000 certifies a food safety management system at the customer's site; we supply hygienic-design equipment that supports it.

**Which stainless steel: 304, 316 or 316L?** All three grades are available. 316 and 316L generally suit more corrosive or washdown-heavy environments. Confirm the grade at quotation.

**How do we verify performance?** Visual inspection of face and welds, cling/pull test, and optional Gauss-meter reading, recorded in your own programme.
